A negative vote is there, so that if a judge honestly thinks a contestant is ranked too high, they can voice their opinion by removing some votes. It's not there to sabotage anyone with a malicious attack. These jerks don't realize that it's far more effective to just give positive votes to the ones they'd like to support. I thought I'd pass along my thoughts regarding participation in other competitions. I think it's great that our contestants take part in any competition they feel like trying for. There's a couple of ladies trying out for Sports Illustrated search and they've sent me invitations to their fan clubs. Of course I accept the invitations and support them all the way. The only thing that puzzles me is that one of them has over 800 members who she's asking for support from and she's also in the running for our monthly competition. If she has that many supporters, why doesn't she ask them to vote for her on our site as well? She'd bounce up to #1 in no time at all, with that many voters. I think overall, it has been better, but it's demonstrated the importance of being active right from the start. We'll keep it going and any suggestions any of you have, we'll certainly consider. As you may well realize, this is an extremely complicated process that requires active participation by all of us. Now that we're getting so close, I'm asking that all you contestants become more active. Log in as frequently as possible and get everyone you can to support you. The ones that do will be taken far more seriously by the television and pageant organizers. It wont matter if you have or haven't won a monthly competition, if you don't remain active, you'll probably be overlooked. I'd also like to add that we're not sure how much longer the monthly competitions will run, so log on and get active while you still can. Once you've done that, the judges will become more aware of you. The way the contestants seem to pop up and down during the last couple of hours must leave many of you scratching your heads. No one ever gets 'raised up' as one of the contestants put it. What we do is identify the serial down voters and have their votes automatically removed. This occurs with a much quicker frequency as the night comes to a close. In this way, we try to prevent the jerks who try to sabotage the girls from ruining their chances. So if a contestant is sitting at 19.6 and they get attacked, the sabotage votes are removed. You only need 100 votes to qualify, so vote for yourself or do whatever you have to do to make the judges aware of you. I can't stress enough how important it is to try your utmost to qualify while the competition is relatively small. When we make our announcements and the press releases go out, the number of contestants will increase dramatically. So go for it now and remember, everything worthwhile takes a little effort. I have a suggestion for all you judges... Instead of supporting your favorite and down voting all the others you consider a threat, why not pick 10 of the ladies you consider to be the most beautiful. It's caused us to make some changes for this month, which I'll explain at the end of this message. Tatania would have been one of the winners, but she failed to log in in June, so was disqualified. At first it appeared that rswin was the final qualifier, but received a low vote in the final seconds putting her into an apparent tie with Rachel and DAnna for the final spot. As most of you know, we have a lot of terrific premium judges, and we want more. The money isn't the important part of the equation, so I've decided to help the contestants and open it up a bit. If any contestant or premium judge wants to vouch for someone, I'll upgrade their membership at no charge. My only request is that the membership only be used to vote in a positive fashion, which means no down voting. Most of the down voting is under control, although there's still a few jerks who find it perfectly O.K. to hand out 4's, 5's, etc. It's beyond me how they get any pleasure from that, but I guess those poor souls never learned how to be nice. They are: Femme from Italy, Zuicute from Lithuania and Luiza from Poland Because there can be only three winners, there must be some who're disappointed after coming so close. We understand the frustration of someone who accumulates a lot of votes all month and loses out to someone with much fewer votes. I think we have to find a way of taking into account the number of votes also, because it happens every month and it isn't very fair to the ones who work so hard. The problem is that a contestant with few votes can pop up and down much quicker, because each vote has a much more profound effect either way. That's why the top three positions changed at least 100 times during the month and many times in the last few hours. All I could do is... more... 2008-04-24  New Monthly Competition Rule  A further addition to the monthly competition rules is that there will be a cut-off of 3 hours before midnight of the final day of the competition month for the minimum 100 votes required to qualify and be recognized. That will eliminate someone from jumping on at the last minute with 100 votes and a high ranking. 2008-04-21  Updates  Attention contestants and judges, First off, I'd like to thank you for your patience regarding the date for our pageant. We're still unable to give you a definitive date because of all the complications involved. We're still in negotiations with a major television network and also have to co-ordinate dates with potential entertainers. It's very frustrating, but will be well worth the wait in the long run. To the contestants who've already qualified through the monthly competitions, one of the stipulations is that you remain active and log in every month. Some of you have failed to do this and will be given one last chance by logging in before the end of this month. We feel these changes will improve the contestants chances who may not have as large a base of loyal followers as some of the other contestants. It doesn't seem fair that contestants with many votes like Rach88 or Azita can be bounced down by someone with only 50 votes. Hopefully this will level the playing field a little more. So once again congratulations and good luck to all the rest of you. 2008-02-01  Nude Site  Our nude site is now fully operational and we think we have all the nude and semi nude pictures moved. If we have missed any, please let us know. This move was necessary in order to consummate a television deal, so please check your galleries to make sure there's none left on this site. Worlds Most Beautiful Nudes (www.TheWMBWnudes.com) should prove to be very popular on its own and will generate a lot of traffic. When visitors to that site want to vote for their favorites, they will link back to your profile on our pageant site and vote as usual. Those of you who have nude, or semi nude pictures will be able to upload an additional 30 pictures for a total of 60 pictures between the two sites, so by all means, take advantage of this, but please keep them tasteful. 2008-01-04  December winners  Happy New year everyone and congratulations to the three finalists for December. In some cases it may take a little while because IP addresses that notoriously give low votes to the more worthy contestants have to be red-flagged before the corrections go into effect. I would like to start off by reminding everyone that this is a competition, not a �hot or not� site. Judges will be voting high for those that they like and low for the ones who they don�t. Im sure many of you girls who are complaining about cheating have their boyfriends, husbands and/or friends voting high for yourselves and voting low for those who are in the lead. Also, I will receive emails with girls providing me their ratings and then check their accounts and see that they have gone back up again. These women are waiting for your votes! If you do not already have a Judge account you can sign up for free and vote for the Contestants. Click the Join Free link at the top of the page. 2005-12-09  Confirmation Emails  There are a number of member profiles, both Contestant and Judge, that are in the Unconfirmed status. Email confirmation is a required step in the sign up process and can not be skipped. Please make sure that you use a valid, working email address during sign up. After sign up you will be sent a confirmation email to the address you specified. This email contains a link which you need to click on to complete the confirmation. Once this is done your profile will be set to 'Approval' status and then activated pending review. There are some profiles that do not appear to have valid email addresses entered as the confirmation emails are being return to sender. If this happens you will not be able to activate your account because you didn't recieve the confimation email. To fix this you must log in to your account with either your username, JudgeID or the email address you used to sign up along with your password. We enjoyed looking at these galleries so much that we decided to increase the number of pictures in Contestant galleries again. Contestants are now able to upload 30 pictures to their profiles. Please review them at your earliest convenience. 2005-11-21  Over 100 Contestants Now Active  We had a fantastic weekend on the site and now there are over 100 active Contestants on the site, many of them will galleries containing 15 pictures. This is a great milestone for us and we are very excited about it. Keep those entries coming! 2005-11-01  Forum Now Open  The forum is now open and you can get to it by clicking the Forum link at the top of the page. You will need to register and log in to the forum separately from the rest of the site. The sign up is streamlined and only takes a few seconds. 2005-11-01  Contestants Allowed Even More Photos  Due to the awesome response from the Contestants using the 10 pictures slots we added a few weeks ago we decided to increase it again and Contestants are now able to upload 15 pictures to their galleries. 2005-10-19  Upcoming Contests  We plan to start doing monthly mini contests and draws for prizes in the near future. Prizes may include free memberships, trips or a chance to go to Las Vegas and judge the final pageant. Check back here for more information soon. 2005-10-06  Premium Judge Memberships  Premium Judge Memberships have just been made available. There are three different membership packages available, and allow several features for the Judges. Please visit the Membership page to learn more. You can get to the Membership page by logging into an existing account and clicking Membership on the left member menu. If you do not have a Judge account already, click the Join Now button on the homepage then click the Judge button and fill out the signup form. If you want to get a Premium account with a new sign up check the I want to be a Premium Judge tick box at the bottom of the form and click next. Then select the membership package you want and click the button to proceed to PayPal and complete the transaction. Once the transaction is completed you will be returned to the site and your account activated. Have fun!! 2005-10-04  Contestants allowed more photos.  As of now all Contestants are allowed to upload 10 pictures in total. This is an increase of 5 pictures. This is likely to be increased in the future to allow even more pictures. So all Contestants that only have one or two pictures, now is a great time to upload some more. Even if you have 5 pictures in your gallery right now, go ahead and upload some more pictures! 2005-09-21  Rating System Update  We have made changes to the way the rating system works in an effort to make it more fair and a more accurate representation of the vote and Contestant ratings. As a result all the current ratings and votes have been reset to zero for every Contestant on the site. This reset was needed to have accurate ratings for all Contestants with the new system. Because all the ratings have been reset this is a perfect opportunity for new Contestants to join the site. Or if you have a Contestant account that has not been activated yet because you have not uploaded any photos, now is a great time to get those pictures up and have your account activated. Good Luck! 2005-09-21  Site Languages  We have just added the Russian language to the site in an effort to make it more accessible to the world. We plan to add more languages in the future and eventually hope to have the site availiable in every major language. You can now click the country names in the scroller above and it will display all the Contestants registered from that country and when a Contestant registers from a new country, that country will automatically be added to the scroller. For Contestants we have added a conversion tool to make it easier to have accurate information in your profiles. There are many Contestants that have Imperial system measurements in their profile but they are supposed to be in Metric system. We added this tool so that if Contestants don't know their stats in Metric system they can easily convert them during the sign up process or after sign up by logging in and visiting the 'My Profile' Section. We are als... more... 2005-07-19  Update  We have been working hard to provide functional updates to the website. Some of the new features include a button on the search page that allows you to bring up all the Contestant profiles with one click. From there you can use the sort menu on the left to sort them by date joined, rating and number of votes. Now you can vote for Contestants directly in their profiles as well as using the Rate section in which photos are displayed randomly one after another. There have been some other changes made recently but they are mostly behind the scenes changes and not really noticeable on the front end. 2005-07-19  Things to come  Some of the new things you can look forward to in coming weeks will be Contestant Guestbooks where everyone can leave messages directly in each Contestants profile. Contestants will have full control of their personal Guestbook allowing them to enable, disable, or suspend the Guestbook and delete entries at their own discretion. Premium Judge accounts will be made availiable as soon as possible. Some of the features of a Premium Judge account include: custom usernames, upload a single photo, viewing of Contestant galleries and many more features. Just click the link and all the Countries will be included in your search.
